Flydubai suspends all flights to and from Israel after alleged hijack attempt
Flydubai suspended all flights to and from Israel after a passenger plane was allegedly attempted to be hijacked by a pilot on a Dubai‑to‑Tel Aviv flight.1
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the pilot tried to stab another pilot and crash the aircraft, while a passenger and a flight attendant entered the cockpit and restrained the pilot, who was later arrested and is being questioned by Saudi authorities; the airline said it is cooperating with government officials, regulatory bodies and airport partners.1
Flydubai said it will review its decision to suspend the routes once more information becomes available.1
